Strikeforce is a leading shopper marketing agency operating across Australia and New Zealand. We specialise in field sales, merchandising, demonstrations, and experiential activations, partnering with some of the world’s most recognised brands across FMCG, DIY, and consumer electronics.

 

We are currently seeking a driven and energetic Area Manager to lead our DIY (Hardware Retail) operations across Brisbane Metro and on occasion surrounding regional areas.

 

About the Role

 

This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role where you will manage a team of Brand Activators across Bunnings and Independent Hardware outlets. You’ll play a critical role in driving sales growth, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring best-in-class execution in-store.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of Brand Activators in your territory
  • Drive sales performance across multiple client product ranges
  • Maximise product ranging and visibility within all accounts
  • Ensure high merchandising standards and inventory accuracy
  • Deliver training and support to your team on new products and systems
  • Execute planograms, relays, refits and new store setups
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Bunnings and client partners
  • Attend regular client meetings and provide insights from the field

You are a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys leading from the front.

 

  • Proven experience in field sales, retail, or trade environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident, proactive and highly organised
  • Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Hardware/DIY knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
