State Field Manager - DIY Sector

Strikeforce is an award-winning shopper marketing agency specialising in managing field sales teams, sampling, and demonstrations, merchandising and experiential events, with a footprint across the AUNZ market. We work with exciting global brands across FMCG, DIY and consumer electronics.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic State Manager to lead our Victorian and Tasmanian states for DIY.

This critical role will be responsible for and overseeing the operations for both states, managing team performance, and ensuring we consistently meet and exceed client expectations. Reporting to the National Field Activation Manager, you will be strategic and operationally minded professional who will lead the Vic/Tas Area Managers across both VIS and Tactical programs.

Key functions of the role include:

• Lead & manage a team of Area Manager and Brand Activators servicing Bunnings and Independent Hardware outlets
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of Area Managers
• Drive team motivation and engagement through effective communication
• Ensure field team performance meets and exceeds client requirements and internal targets
• Optimize recruitment, training, and ongoing performance of field personnel
• Implement the agreed customer plan through field operations
• Project management and attention to detail
• Efficient communication with all level of stakeholders
• Training of new Brand Activators
• Territory management ensuring all scheduled calls are met and Projects completed on time and in budget
• Assist in new store setups & upgrades
• Implement relays & refits
• Attend fortnightly and monthly state-based client meetings and maintain client relationships

• Proven track record in field activation management
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities
• Exceptional communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and analytical skills
• Experience in driving operational efficiency and team performance
